Rainbow Honey "Soldier", "Hellfire" & "Emerald Weapon" from the Final Battle Collection

Hello my loves!!! Did ya miss me? I'm sorry I've been away, I'm finally starting to feel better. Whatever this big was that I had, it's really hard to shake! Anyway, hopefully I can get back into the swing of things and get back to blogging at least a few days a week!

Today I have a few beauties from Rainbow Honey's newest collection to show you today! The Final Battle collection consists of 15, YES 15 lacquers! Here is what RH has to say about this collection...

..."The Final Battle brings us 15 new shades inspired by Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII. Often touted as “the game that sold the PlayStation,” FFVII was a long and grueling gaming experience full of heavy thematic elements and strife. The game touches on eco-terrorism, over-industrialization, and the expectations and challenges we battle over the course of life. With a cast as varied as the enemies they encounter, there was no shortage of inspiration here!
Part I, The Battle, plays off of some of the main elements of the game: the heroes and the ultimate faceoff between the Planet’s Lifestream and the Meteor; Phoenix Down is a nod to the recurring battle item throughout the Final Fantasy series.
Part II, The Summons, depicts five of the attacks used by the beasts and monsters summoned in the game - a crucial part of any important battle! Finally,
Part III takes its name from The Weapons created by the Planet as a form of self-defense. These bio-mechanical monsters were massive and powerful and I have taken the chance to create a durable and colorful interpretation of each one. They are smooth, shine bright with metallic shimmer, and make a great base for the many glitters in this collection." -Rainbow Honey

Celestial Cosmetics "Iron Born" & "Little Finger"

Hello loves! So sorry I have another late post for you all but I am getting my butt kicked by this virus. Sneezing, coughing, congestion, my ears hurt and to top it all off my TMJ Disorder is really flaring up and, in my book at least, there is no worse pain in the world than mouth pain.
I'm hoping what I have to show you tonight is enough to make up for the late hour! Tonight I have another Celestial Cosmetics post, this brand is swiftly becoming a favorite of mine! Who am I kidding? Yes I know, I love all the indies but these Aussie indies are amazing!  The two I have to show you are, like the multi-chromes I swatched earlier in the week, also part of the Seven Kingdoms Collection. This collection is a Game of Thrones themed collaboration between Celestial Cosmetics and Color4Nails. Now I have to admit, I am not familiar with The Game of Thrones, please don't hate me! It's not that I'm uninterested I just missed out on it when it first started and just haven't had the chance to get to watching it yet. I promise I will as soon as I can though!  I've heard nothing but great things and I' sure I will be hooked!

Dollish Polish "What's This? What's This?

Hi loves! For today's Try It On Tuesday I have a Halloween glitter topper that was gifted to me by my polish sista a while back. Since I am trying to get through all of my untried Halloween polishes from last year I decided to use this with another polish I had untried until recently as well.

Mish Mash Challenge: Triangle

Hey, hey, hey!! I know I haven't done a Mish Mash Challenge post in several weeks but I'm hoping to keep up with it on a more regular basis from here on out.

This week we are supposed to do a "Triangle" mani and I actually had a couple things in mind, one of them I just couldn't shake. I have wanted to do a Harry Potter inspired mani since I started blogging but I never find the time or I feel discouraged at my lack of skill in the free hand art department so I give up before I even get started. Once this idea came to me I knew it was perfect and would be simple enough for me to pull off. I took my inspiration from the last book in the HP series; The Deathly Hallows.

Let's Talk Glisten & Glow

Hello loves! I have a different kind of post today, still nail related but not about glitter, sparkle and colors. Today I want to talk about that never ending quest for the perfect fast drying top coat finally coming to an end as well as cuticle and nail mosturization! (Is that an actual word? I'm pretty sure it isn't. LOL)

Like most nails fiends I know, I have been on the hunt for the perfect top coat. I don't think my list of requirements are too much to ask for: fast drying, long lasting, doesn't smudge, has high shine, doesn't give in to hungry glitters, doesn't smell so much that my nostrils feel like they are on fire and last but not least won't cause shrinkage and get crazy thick after a few uses. That doesn't sound like too much to ask for, so why in the name of all that is holy can I not find that top coat? I tried SV when I first became blog obsessed and it was my go to top coat but it was such a pain in the butt. The smell was so awful, it would get so gooey after about 5 uses and the shrinkage was crazy stupid. So I decided to try other top coats out, mostly Sally Hansen stuff but nothing was perfect, that is until HK Girl arrived in my mail box.
