Nail Mail!!!! (Picture Heavy)

I've been stalking the mailbox for a little while now waiting on  four packages.
Of course the two that I expected to arrive last show up first! My Nail Pattern Boldness
and Rainbow Honey both came today! These babies were all added to my collection by my fantastical husband for my birthday! So a big THANKS YOU to my Bubba!
So now, of course, on to pictures!

I've been stalking Allison from NPB for a couple months now to get my painted claws on Flipping Out Hard! I can not wait to try it out! NPB was my first Indie brand I have purchased. I absolutely love all of them I've bought so far. Too bad for me my bank account won't allow me to get all of them right now, some day though! Go check out her Etsy shop here!

I plan on having a giveaway just as soon as I figure out what the
prizes will be get and I get them all  together.

However, as of right now I can say that
Flipping Out Hard is going to be one of the prizes!

These are my first Rainbow Honey's. I wanted to buy both of the collections in their entirety but to be realistic I  decided on A Little Kindness and Sakura Matsuri . Since I first laid eyes on them I wanted them, I had to have them and now they are MINE!

Sorry about all the pictures, I just Loooooooove the packaging!

Ok I'm done now! Hopefully the other 2 packages full of beauties will show up tomorrow!
I'm starting to get worried!!! LOL

My Favorite Things Day 3 - Favorite Animal

My favorite animal has to be the panda...

They're just so cute!

I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors Mint Apple.

I could have gone with 3 coats since it wasn't completely opaque.

Then with acrylic paint I painted my pandas and some bamboo.

Unfortunately the first 2 pandas I painted look more like Dumbo! LOL

The only one I like is on my ring finger.

Not much more to say but don't forget to check out the other ladies in this challenge!

Now I'm finally off to bed!
Laters.

31 Day Challenge - Day 1 "Red"

So I must be a little bit crazy, because I decided to join a second challenge. This one is brought to us by Kimber at Kimber's Lacquer Korner. She has a whole bunch of cool things on our challenge. I must say I am a bit nervous too, there are a few things I haven't tried out yet and I'm so afraid I'm going to fail! I'll be the first to admit, If I'm afraid to fail I usually wont even try! But i vow to try and even if it is a miserable failure I will still show all of you my horrendous work of art! ;)

So on to the challenge...

I started off with 2 coat of Sinful Colors Sugar Sugar

These pictures don't do this red justice.
It's nice and shimmery but the camera really doesn't pick it up.

Then using scotch tape I put ManGlaze Matte Is Murder on my tips.

I can not say enough good things about ManGlaze. It goes on smooth like butter!
I can't wait until I get some extra cash so I can order more of their colors!

Then I used Matte Is Murder with BM-316

No top coat...

Just for fun I added a top coat...

I liked it better matte, the top coat took away the shimmer in the black.

Sorry my pix got a little blurry bit my camera died and my iPhone doesn't
seem to like the light box with this color! :-/

Well now I have to write up my 2nd post for the other challenge I'm in!

My Favorite Things Day 2...

...my favorite polish. Man that's difficult!
I have so many favorites, so I went with the newest one, Essie Bikini So Teeny and for an accent
Sally Hansen Gem Crush Showgirl Chic

I just got this beautiful baby blue from Copious. Now I know I could have gotten it at the closest Walgreens but I ordered it for 3 reasons. 1) I had a $10 credit. 2) It had free shipping.
3) It was $2 cheaper than buying it at Walgreens!

This is such a pretty blue but it was very hard to work with. It had full opaqueness after 3 coats but it tends to drag and pick up the color even after letting each coat thoroughly dry.

The Showgirl Chic is an amazing full coverage glitter bomb, 1 Coat was all it took.

I still need to get a second lamp for my light box so I was having difficulties getting decent pix, those were the best 3 out of about 20. O_o  So I decided to take a few direct sunlight pix too.

Well that's all for now! Don't forget to check out all the other amazing creations from the links below! Have a great weekend!

Leo The Lion...so Rare & Radient

Happy Friday everyone! Today is my birthday, so I had to do a special mani for it!
When my nephew was visiting a couple weeks ago he picked out China Glaze Rare & Radiant. It's been said that it's a dupe for Chanel Peridot which I would love to get but refuse to pay $$. Anyhow, since Peridot is August's birthstone I knew when little man picked it I was going to save it for my birthday mani!
(I made a lightbox last night. I may need to add another lamp, but I'm not sure. You be the judge)

I  did 2 coats of  R&R and it was completely opaque.
(These 2 pic were not taken in the light box obviously)

I love the change of color, In the bottle it shifts green, gold, blue. But I had a very hard time trying to capture the blue shift because it wasn't as predominant once applied.

I had to make a lion! It wouldn't be a proper Leo mani without it!

Then I stamped the Leo Zodiac Sign with Mash-34

I added some dots and a clear rhinestone to each.

To finish I topped them all off with SV.

I know this post wasn't very detailed today but I haven't been to bed yet and I need to catch a couple hours of sleep today.

Anyway, that's the birthday mani.
What do you guys think of the pictures? Better with the light box?  No?
TTFN!
