Different Dimension: 3 Christmas/Holiday Polishes

I apologize for the late post, again! What I have for you tonight are some polishes I won from an Instagram giveaway a few weeks back from @nic_tchelly and @missibarry. (If you're on IG you can find me @sassypaints2012)I have been trying to work them in a post between review posts, it's been difficult but I had to show them off to you before Christmas!

I've Been An Awful Good Girl: "A white base with pink(ish) shimmer...pink and purple holographic glitters throughout in different sizes."

All photos of I've Been An Awful Good Girl are shown with 2 coats topped with 1 coat of Mega Shine.

I've Been An Awful Good Girl is part of Different Dimension's Santa Baby Collection, which consist of 8 different polishes. I have to say that I was so surprised by this one. I looooooove crelly based polishes, I've said this before many times, but they can be a bit sheer. Usually requiring 3-4 coats on most. This polish only needed 2! It is super opaque, I could tell after the first coat that I'd only need 2 coats. It has smooth application and the glitters came out of the bottle without issue. No flooding, pooling, balding, dragging...perfection.

Think Of All the Fellas That I Haven't Kissed: "Rich purples, blues and teals in a clear base"

All photos of Think Of All the Fellas That I Haven't Kissed are show over Nicole by OPI We Are Fame-ily topped with 1 coat NYC You Matte Me Crazy.

I really love this glitter bomb. The color combo is awesome, some of my favorite colors actually. I could have easily built this up to be a stand alone in 2, maybe 3 coats, but I wanted to try something a little fun so I tried my first reversed glitter gradient! Application was great, the base isn't too thick so it makes it easy to work with. Think Of All the Fellas That I Haven't Kissed is also part of DD's Santa Baby Collection.

Christmahanakwanzika: A glitter bomb with several different size hexes in various colors including red, green, yellow, gold, blue and black.

The first 4 photos of Christmahanakwanzika are shown as 1 coat over Sally Hansen Polar Bear. The photos appear textured because I did not use a top coat since I was finishing this look off as a jelly sandwich, but I wanted to show all the colors off first.)

The glitter combo in this is really nice. In the bottle it just looks like glitter, once applied it opens it up to all the different finishes of the glitters and sizes as well. Also I didn't realize when I first looked that the black glitters were in the mix. There was no fishing for the larger glitters vs the smallest ones. You do have to place the larger ones however or they all want to glide towards the tip, but this is to be expected with this much glitter of various sizes on your brush.

Look at how pretty it is as a jelly sammich!! It's like a Christmas party on my nails!!

I am loving these babies! How about you?

You can find Different Dimension on Etsy here, all of the polishes range from $8.50 to $10.00.
You can also follow Different Dimension on Facebook here, and on IG @missibarry.

Have any of you tried any of Different Dimension's polishes? I want to know what you think I should add to my wish list, because I really want some more!

  1. These are luscious. As I was viewing each one, I'd make a mental note to "buy THAT one." Well, by the end of your post, I'm so indecisive! LOL. I want em ALLLLL.

    Gorgeous swatches, Gini!

    1. They are all great! I think if there is only 1 that you have to have I recommend Think of All the Fellas That I Haven't Kissed. Tey are all amazing, but that one really speaks to me!

  2. I just received my first order from Different Dimension last week. One of the polishes that I ordered was Selene. I have it on right now over Revlon Mysterious and it is beautiful. This one will be great over any color polish (my 9 year old has it over black) and it is also beautiful all by itself. Selene is on the list that is retiring so you should order some now (she has a coupon code on FB for orders placed today).

    1. Ahhhhh! I wish I wasn't on a No Buy! I missed a few of the retiring polishes from other Indies lately because of it, looks like I may miss more. The new year needs to hurry up so I can buy again! lol

  3. I agree with Cheryl. Selene was one of my first polishes from Different Dimension (but certainly not my last). I LOVE Selene, and although I have some other polishes along the same lines, Selene is the one I always come back to. I have never been disappointed with any of my Different Dimension polishes! And I have been on a No Buy also, which is so hard when everyone is having Christmas sales. Boo hoo.
