Jindie Nails Review: Battle Royale & Dream In Color

I have several beauties that I have really been looking forward to swatching for you all from the Winter Chic Collection by Jindie Nails. Since there are several I have to review for you, I decided to break them up into a few posts. Today I have Battle Royale and Dream In Color.

Battle Royale: A deep blue jelly with color shifting shimmer (violet, teal& pink shifts) with periwinkle, deep purple, teal, magenta, mauve, lavender matte and metallic glitters. Also turquoise, light pink & hot pink round glitters.

All photos of Battle Royale are shown as 2 coats topped with 2 coats glitter food and 1 coat Mega Shine.

There are so many glitters in this beauty that you give your brush a small dunk an you're guaranteed to get a ton on your nail! This color is so rich a vibrant that it kinda freaked my camera out a little. I did manage to capture the color of the polish accurately but my skin looks a little sick in a couple of these pictures! LOL There is no dragging, pooling or flooding at all. The color is so pigmented that 2 coats are plenty for full coverage! Just make sure you use a good top coat since this leaves your nails quite textured, I used 2 coats of glitter food to make sure it smoothed out nicely.

Dream in Color: Small matte hex glitters in neon blue, neon yellow, neon, green, barbie pink, white and black in a clear base.

All photos of Dream in Color are shown as 2 coats over Polish Addict Spiced Cocoa topped with 1 coat Glitter Food and 1 coat Mega Shine.

As you can see 2 coats of Dream in Color gives almost full coverage, you can barely see the base color underneath. The formula is perfect, smooth and easy to apply. Make sure to wait between coats to allow enough drying time or you will end up with a clumpy mess! Glitter this small need to have that wait between coats to give a smooth finish. Also you need a good top coat since glitter bombs like this tend to eat most top coats, this is why I used a coat of  Glitter Food and a coat of Mega Shine.

Overall, these babies did not disappoint! Jindie Nails is always on point and these would make a great addition to a polish lovers collection! Jindie Nails Etsy shop has been closed for the holidays but is opening back up tonight at 7pm CST, so keep your eye on the shop for sure! You can find Jen's Etsy shop here.
