Laquerlicious Plum Parfait Review!

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all are doing well, at least better than I am! I'm STILL sick, I can't seem to kick this cold or whatever it is. I feel fine for a day or most of the day then all of a sudden *BAM* it hits me again. Each time it hits it seems to be worse too! I may have overexerted myself last night by meeting up with some friends and having a few drinks but I needed to get out, so it was worth it!

Today I am going to be showing you a gorgeous polish from an Indie line that made it's debut in August. Some of you may have seen some of these lovely polishes from Laquerlicious (the "C" in lacquer is left off on purpose) popping up on some blogs lately! When I was contacted by Michelle to review I was excited to try out what she has to offer! Michelle has been a manicurist for 18 years, so she is very knowledgeable when it comes to polish and what we as nail crazies want and love!

Plum Parfait: A deep jelly base with small and medium hexes and holo squares.

All photos show 2 coats of Plum Parfait over 1 coat of Color Club Cat Walk Queen topped with 1 coat Glitter Food and 1 coat Mega Shine.

I layered Plum Parfait over a purple of a similar color just to make sure there were no spots showing through, but I'm pretty sure with how much glitter you actually pull out of the bottle with the 2 coats undies were not needed! There is so much glitter in this bottle and it's holoness really pops no matter what kind of light you are in! I wore this out last night and I seriously couldn't stop looking at my nails!

The formula was perfect! Not too thick not to thin. I had no problems getting the different sizes of glitter out of the bottle, there was no settling either! Super easy to work with. I know a lot of you girls and guys may hate working with glitter bombs because of how clumpy and draggy it gets, this does NOT do that at all! It just glides on the nail! This formula dries fast too. I did my nails and was doing my hair not even 20 minutes later, without any dents, scratches or smudges.

And just for fun here are some pictures of my right hand, which I just recently filed to have almond shaped nails. I'm not a huge fan of this shape on my hand but I actually wanted to try stilettos but my nails weren't long enough yet.

What do ya think? I personally think they look odd! I can really tell how uneven they are, and they look like they are too flat! LOL

Overall I really think Michelle and Laquerlicious really have something to offer the ever expanding world of Indies! If you would like to purchase Plum Parfait or any other Laquerlicious pretties you can do so one of two ways on Etsy here or you can also find some of Michelle's polishes on Big Cartel here.
Laquerlicous isn't currently on Facebook but you can follow Michelle on Twitter @NailChickMich.
