Renaissance Cosmetics: Wunderkammer Collection Part II

Hi loves, long time no see! I promised to post part 2 of the Wunderkammer collection from Renaissance Cosmetics last week and I got caught up in real life so the blog got neglected. However I really wanted to get this posted before the coupon code I posted with the last review expired so even though it's later than promised it's up! The code SASSYPAINTS15 will get you 15% off your purchase, but it expires tonight at 11:59pm, so if you like these or any of the gorgeous polishes from my previous posts hurry and buy them NOW!! You can see all those posts by clicking here!

Enamoured: a deep purple jelly with holo micro glitters, glowy blue hexes and fuchsia shimmer.
Shown as 2 coats topped with Nail Pattern Boldness Digital Flash.

I always have such a hard time getting color accurate pictures of purple for some reason, I think I've come pretty close though. The thing that makes this special to me are those blue glitters. They just pop against that rich purple and like they are flashing off and on when the light hits. There is so much depth in this polish, it almost looks galaxy like! The formula is perfect, it applies smooth and doesn't flood the cuticle.

Emerald Envy: an emerald green holo base with gold and lime green holo glitters.
Shown as 2 coats topped with NPB Digital Flash.

I'm always surprised when the green polishes make me swoon. I'm not sure why, but I tend to overlook green most of the time even though it seems to be a favorite color of mine. This stunner is no exception. I really wish that I had been able to get some sunlight to capture the holo, but spring rains kept me from getting those. This is easily my favorite polish from Renaissance, it needs to be seen in person to really appreciate it's beauty. Meghan never disappoints with her formulas either, just like Enamoured, this has flawless application and dry time is excellent as well. This is a MUST HAVE if you like green, it broke my heart to have to remove it!

Gilded Pleasure: gold, copper and rose glitters with gold micro flakes and pale blue squares in a clear base.
Shown as 1 coat over black topped with NPB Digital Flash.

This is a dazzler! I'm kinda kicking myself for not using a more delicate color of undies, lilac or pink would have been beautiful. Though this works just as well, it is a bit dark for the time of year. Oh well. The glitters are so dense that it could easily be worn alone with an extra coat or two. The glitters cooperate great, laying flush against the nail and coming out of the bottle fairly easy, the only exception was the pale blue glitters. Those guys wanted to stick to the side of the bottle so I would recommend a really good shake and setting the bottle upside down, about 5-10 minutes prior to polishing.

You can purchase Renaissance Custom Lacquers online at renaissance cosmetics.com, these retail for $9.50 per full size bottle. Again, don't forget the code sassypaints15 to get 15% off your purchase! This code is good until tonight at 11:59 pm EST. This coupon can not be combined with other coupons and can only be used once per purchase!
