Hello loves, I hope everyone had a great weekend! Today I have the Celestial Cosmetics and Color4Nails summer collaboration collection to show you. These polishes are a neon holographic collection, woohoo!
I have all off them shown here as 2 coats, unless otherwise noted, and no top coat. All photos were taken in a light box, unfortunately there was no sun for e to capture the holo sparkle.*Sad Face*
Merge: Neon Pink
Tantrum: Neon Orange
Trip: Neon Yellow Orange
Adrenaline: Neon Green
Shown a 3 coats.
Inception: Bright Blue
Sisi advised me that these are best when worn over white, since it makes the color pop, but I really wanted to see how well they fared on their own. The only one I believe that needed to be layered over white, which I will do when I wear it again, is Adrenalin (green). It's formula was more on the sheer side requiring the 3rd coat and it was still slightly less opaque than the rest of the shades. The others I don't believe needed the white undies but if you want to do it, it wouldn't hurt. They all applied silky smooth, there was no dragging, flooding, or thickening. Perfect formulas.
Singularity: Neon Purple
Singularity is a prototype that was originally intended to be the 6th shade of the collection. While it didn't make the cut it is too beautiful not to share. This polish does have an issue with clumping pigment. As you can see in my pictures there are some "lumps", in the light box it made the pigment clumps appear much more visible than they are. This pigment will not damage the nail in any way. The pigment issue aside, this shade is actually my favorite of this bunch.
The Electric You collection will launch on Color4Nails website, color4nails.com, tomorrow, July, 1.2014.
