Me.Lissa Nail Lacquer: Green Light On The Dock, Ain't No Party Like A Gatsby Party & Beautiful Little Fool

*Free product for review

Tonight I am going to show you some glitter polishes from a very new Indie brand that opened shop up in January. Here is a little background on Melissa, the creator of Me.Lissa Nail Lacquer...

"As a science major and pre-med student, there isn't much room for creativity during my day job. I love nail polish, and have always used it as my creative outlet. I started out doing some nail art and then moved on to some small frankening experiments. Now I decided to launch my own brand as a creative escape in between school and work. I named it Me.Lissa because I really want it to represent the color combinations I love and find fun to wear.

The following polishes are from Me.Lissa's Gatsby collection and are LE so when they are gone they are gone for good! All Me.Lissa Lacquers are 3 Free.

Green Light On The Dock...
..."has over 15 different glitters, all in a green tinted base. A mixture of different sized matte green, emerald, light green, aqua, matte blue and baby blue hexes and squares."

All photos of Green Light on the Dock are shown as 2 coats over Delightful Lacquers Tropical topped with 1 coat of Mega Shine.

I do regret using undies that were so close in color to the blue glitters in this polish. However I really like the way the rest of the glitters look on this shade. The shimmer in this polish is stunning! In the bottle it looks like an ordinary glitter polish but once applied it comes alive! The formula is excellent, suspending the glitters so there is hardly an sinking. The glitters come out of the bottle nicely and go on to the nail easily, laying flat so there was no need for a glitter smoothing top coat.

Ain't No Party Like A Gatsby Party...
..."a mixture of white, black, holo silver and gold hexes and squares along with white, black, and holo silver sliced glitter, all in a clear base."

All photos of Ain't No Party Like A Gatsby Party are shown as 2 coats over Delightful Lacquers Ruby Slippers topped with 1 coat of Mega Shine.

This one is definitely a party in a bottle! There is so much holo in this my nails just sparkled! The formula was excellent, consistent with GLOTD . I was very surprised at how flat the glitters were once applied since there are so many different shapes, there was no need for a glitter smoothing top coat. I know this would look amazing over any color!

Beautiful Little Fool...
..."a mixture of pink holo, matte pink, pastel pink, iridescent, white, light green and baby blue hexes and squares along with white sliced glitter, all in a clear base."

All photos of Beautiful Little Fool are shown as 2 coats over Hard Candy Crush On Caribbean topped with 1 coat Mega Shine.

This is my favorite of the three, I have a love for pinks and this one is AMAZING! Again the formula is like the previous two. The glitters are beautifully suspended and just glide on to the nail. This one does dry just a bit textured in comparison to the other two. I didn't use a glitter smoothing top coat since the others were pretty smooth without, but one could be used if you feel it is too textured for your liking.
