Wing Dust Collections: Lilacs In June & Sleepless Summer Nights

*Free product for review*

It's Friday!! Whoop Whoop! Since it's Friday that means I will be taking the kiddies back to my brother and SIL. I will miss these little boogers but I will be so happy to get back to a normal (for me) schedule!
Anyway, today I have a couple of brand new beauties from Wing Dust Collections. I had originally tried to get some swatches done of a couple of Stephanie's new holos but as soon as I got finished polishing the sun went away! Then once I removed it, the sun reappeared! Stupid sun! So I picked these 2 beauties!

Sleepless Summer Nights...
...a deep blue jelly base with copper-red shimmer. It leans turquoise because of the red tint of the shimmer over top. It is loaded with green, yellow, brown, gold, turquoise and blue and white stars.

All photos of Sleepless Summer Nights are shown as 3 coats topped with 1 coat Mega Shine

I want to clarify, I said 3 coats but it's really more like 2½ coats. I applied 1 coat, then I reapplied to only the tips since my nails are getting pretty long, then a 2nd whole coat to the entire nail. This would give good coverage with only 2 coats. I was surprised at how opaque it was, and honestly I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I love this polish! I knew I would love it simply because I adore Wing Dust but I have to admit that I wasn't sure about the color combo of this one. Once the first stroke was applied I fell in love! It has a deep teal color that is very opaque for a jelly. It applies very easily, smooth and effortless. The glitters come out in an abundance, stars come out pretty easily as well with only a small amount of effort to fetch them. There is so much going on in this but Steph has the gift of knowing how to make it look amazing and never cluttered or junked up like some heavy glitters can be. I was happy that this formula was so great that it managed to cover all of the glitters and allowed than to lay very flat so no special glitter smoothing top coat was required! I think Stephanie's description for her inspiration for this one is spot on for how it really looks...
"It's those warm summer nights you just can't drift off and you find yourself laying in the middle of a field, watching the stars and firefly's drifting through the hot air above you, not a sound besides the crickets and the rustling field grass. Inspired by memories of summers past- simpler, quieter times before the busy-ness and hustle of life got in the way."

Lilacs In June...
...a soft pink/purple base with a very shy lavender/aqua shimmer and loads of blue, purple, periwinkle and iridescent glitters.... the odd green holo might peek at you from time to time as well.

All photos of Lilacs In June are shown as 2 coats with 1 coat Glitter Food 1 coat Mega Shine

My pictures do not do this polish justice! Not even in the slightest bit! I have a really hard time getting lighter pinks to photograph properly. My camera freaks out, it has to be my skin tone. Anyway, this is super  opaque and almost a one coater. Formula was again perfect, glitters came out with zero effort. There are a lot of glitters so make sure you allow the first coat to dry thoroughly before applying the second to prevent dragging. I was unable to capture the shimmer properly, but it is there. The iridescent glitters really make this for me, I love all of the colors in it but the flash of different color you get from those iridescent glitters make it that much more special! It does finish slightly textured so a glitter smoothing top coat is a good idea.
