Trust Fund Beauty Swatches and Review

Today I have some polishes from Trust Fund Beauty  to show you. TFB is a Canadian based Indie brand that launched in March. The names are all sassy and they have a great variety of colors and finishes. All of their polishes are 5 Free and Cruelty Free.

Zero Carbs: a matte finish gray.
Shown as 2 coats, no top coat.

This dries to a waxy matte finish and has an egg shell like texture to it. I don't know if that is consistent with their matter polishes but I actually think it's kind of cool looking. The formula was excellent, it was completely opaque with 2 coats and dry time was great.

Bitch, Please!: a lilac metallic.
Shown as 2 coats, no top coat.

As you can see, this is a super shiny metallic. I was happy that it didn't show a ton of brush strokes like most foil/metallic polishes. Again, the formula and dry time were great.

Big Spender: a creamy peach with a subtle shimmer.
Shown as 3 coats topped with HKGirl.

I was really looking forward to this one, I love a good creamy peach. The color is great and the shimmer is beautiful, I had a hard time capturing it on camera of course! The formula was ok, there was no major issues: no flooding or anthing but it didn't really level out well and wound up looking a bit patchy in just a few spots, again this was difficult capturing on camera. I would advise giving ample time to dry between coats.

Don't Be Shady: a light gray holo.
Shown as 3 coats topped with HK Girl

I found the formula for this to be on the sheer side, I could have probably done with a 4 coat because I noticed as I was looking closer while photographing there was a little bit of VNL still. Now the formula is thin as well, so 4 coats really wouldn't make it too thick. The holo is kind of a mix between linear and scattered. I unfortunately had a hard time getting sunlight pix since it had been rainy when I swatched this, but you can see the slight rainbow still.

Filth and Glamour: a spring green holo.
Shown as 3 coats topped with HK Girl.

Again, the formula was on the sheer/thin side but applied lovely. I really love this color! And the holo in this seemed to be a little more pronounced than it was in Don't Be Shady. This is by far my favorite of all of these!
