Hey everyone! I know this post is several days late but I had to get my reviews caught up and I really had a hard time getting any inspiration for a tape mani I haven't done before. When I finally got around to doing my nails for this post I had a couple things in mind but I was having one of those days then nothing worked the way I planned it. So when all else failed I opted for something I'm familiar with! So I did a Studded Striped Gradient.

Hello loves, welcome to another Try It On Tuesday! I was stumped for this week since I have some Alanna Renee's that I purchased from Color4Nails recently. I also just got my first KBShimmer polishes too, so needless to say I was torn! That is until I received a package from my girl Allison of Nail Pattern Boldness! She sent me one of my biggest lemmings so I knew I just had to use it for this weeks TIOT post! 

Zoya PixieDust 2013 Fall Collection

Hello my polished pretties! I have been waiting to do this post since Zoya first announced back in May that they were releasing these Fall Pixies! I have fast become a textured junkie, I love all the textured polishes I have tried, but I will admit that I love the PixieDust textures the absolute best. They are the least coarse while still maintaining the the texture that I love so much. Plus all of the sparkle, they just dance in the light, better than any others I've tried. These didn't disappoint one bit.

All of the following photos are shown without using a base and top coats, just like Zoya recommends. All are shown as 2 coats with the exception of Tomoko, that one is shown as 3 coats since it was just a tad bit more sheer than the others. Application was amazingly easy, as always. Zoya recommends that you wait until each coat has fully dried, up to 10 minutes, other wise you can end up with a dragging, clumpy mess. Make sure you follow that for hassle free application, I usually wait more along the lines of 3-5 minutes.

I hope the sweet people at KKCenterHK aren't too upset with me! I just really needed to get some inspiration for these and I finally came up with this. I hope you all enjoy!

Good morning my polished pretties!! Did everyone have a good weekend?  Do anything fun for the holiday? I had tons of fun and wish it didn't end but all good things must end and now we are back to the everyday hustle and bustle! Today I am going to show you the Summer Rainbows collection by Love, Angeline! All of these are shown as 2 coats no top coat. The formula for each one was quite thick, so I wound up adding about 3 drops of thinner to each mini bottle to make application easier. I did have some bubbling when I tried to apply them without adding the thinner. These are all described as having a subtle shimmer but the finish, to me, is less shimmery and more foil like: they can appear a bit brush strokie. (um, is that a word? LOL) 

Live Life Polished "Purple Skies" & "Fun In the Sun"

Hello my polished pretties!! Today I have a couple more polishes to show you from Live Life Polished . These two are true jellies. Application was great, they are thick enough that there is a lot of control and they don't flood or pool but thin enough that they don't thicken or pull when applying. I really love both of these and I can't wait to try out more from this Indie. I am a sucker for jellies and Live Life Polished has a lot of them!! Let's take a look, shall we?

I am so excited about today's post! I have recently dipped my fingers into the world of Aussie Indies and I am hooked! One of the names I had been dying to try for a long time has been Femme Fatale Cosmetics. Every single swatch I have seen has been pure awesomeness, so when I was given the opportunity to review for FFC I was ecstatic! Today I have 2 very beautiful polishes to show you.

Zoya Summer 2013 Stunning Collection (Picture Heavy)

Hey hey hey! How is everyone this glorious Monday morning? Today I have the Stunning Collection to show you all. I have really been looking forward to swatching this collection. There isn't a single color that I dislike, they are all amazing and would look great on anyone! Formula and application for them were excellent. All but 1 of the shades are shown as 2 coats topped with SH Diamond Flash. I did have a little trouble from Darcy, so I used 3 coats topped with SH Diamond Flash.

Happy Monday!! I hope everyone had a great weekend, I know I did! The weather has been so amazing and feels so summer like, I just love it! Summer like weather calls for beautiful summer nails, wouldn't you agree? Zoya has come out with some really amazing summer collections this year (if you haven't seen the Summer PixieDust Collection click here to see my swatches) and today I have the Irresistible collection to show you.  This collection contains 6 foil metallic polishes that all have a a hint of gold flakes. Each of these had a great formula making application fairly easy. No dragging or balding and they all went on pretty smooth, with the exception of one (keep reading below) All of the photos are shown as 3 coats, unless otherwise stated, and all are topped with Sally Hansen Diamond Flash. I want to note that with the length of my nails I usually use one more coat than would be used on shorter/average length nails.

I managed to get quite a few swatches done, the Zoya summer PixieDust collection being some of those swatches! Today's letter almost left me recreating one of my first manis, neon spun sugar, which incidentally is by far my most STOLEN mani on Instagram. I decided to do this one instead, so I can give the Instagram thief accounts a new neon mani to steal!

White Owl Lacquers: After All This Time Collection Review & Swatches

Hi everyone, happy Monday  I hope everyone had a great weekend! Sorry I was MIA for the past few days, I had a lot going on. My hubby and I are currently in the process of doing some renovations to the house, and we had a lot of price comparisons to do on Friday. Then we had my nieces birthday party on Saturday and I had some work to do on Sunday so there was just no time for posting.

Today I am going to show you 3 colors from White Owl Lacquers After All This Time collection. This collection was inspired by Harry Potter! I am a huge Potter Head so anything HP makes me giddy!

I hope everyone in the states is having a wonderful Thanksgiving and going to enjoy lots of Turkey, and all of my international polish pals happy Thursday! I just wanted to share my Thanksgiving mani with you all. I didn't have time to do the turkey mani I wanted to do since my family and I were running around trying to get some shopping done for our trip to Indiana to visit my older brother and his family. So I decided to just use some fall colors instead. I recently won a new beauty from Hit Polish (I've posted about some of Rachel's polishes before when her shop went by D&R Apothecary) by giving her the name for one of her soon to be released polishes. Nail Pattern Boldness "Boop-Oop-a-Dupe" & My 100th Post!!

100 posts! I can't believe it! I knew that the mani for this post had to be an awesome one so I was saving a lemming that I recently acquired in a giveaway just for this occasion, Max Factor Fantasy Fire. However, while I was waiting ever so patiently for 100 to hit, I received the most awesome package full of great goodies to review and one of those goodies just so happened to be a dupe for the hard to find Fantasy Fire and even harder to find Clarins 230 aka Unicorn Pee!  So of course I had to do a comparison for you all.

I now present to you Nail Pattern Boldness Boop-Oop-a-Dupe! Oh! Be forewarned this is a picture heavy post, but it is totally worth it! So I will keep my jibber jabber to a minimum until the end. ;)

Tip Top Nails Review and Swatches

Happy hump day boys and girls! I hope everyone is having a great week so far, if not don't fret we are almost to the end of the week so hang in there! Today I have a whole lot of goodies to show you all. I was recently contacted by the super sweet Joan of Tip Top Nails to see about reviewing. Of course I jumped on the opportunity since these are not found here in the States! Happy NAIL-AWEEN Day 1

I'm really happy with how this turned out. I've only done water marble nails 2 times before this and they weren't the best. This one isn't perfect but it is much better than my previous attempts. Also, since I am kind of a glitter junkie, I had to have a glitter accent nail! =) I can't help it, am just so in love with Bitches Brew! Nail Pattern Boldness: Bitches Brew

Hello ladies!! Happy Hump-day!

Today I bring to you a special Halloween creation from Nail Pattern Boldness. Allison previewed this polish about 2 weeks ago and had a restock last Friday that included this beauty! I was so sad I couldn't get more...I really wanted to try Ninja Babe, a girlie version of Ninja Vs Pirate...but being broke as a joke only allowed me to purchase 1 polish this restock and it had to be Bitches Brew!

This is a clear base with a TON of orange, purple, blue, yellow and green hex,square and even some bar glitters in various sizes.

I applied 2 coats of Bitches Brew over 1 coat of Finger Paints Black Expressionism no top coat.

This formula is perfect! No pulling or clumping and most importantly NO FISHING for glitter!

Then just for fun I decided to add a coat of NYC Matte Me Crazy

This glitter was so nice to work with, none of them were poking up or unruly so one coat of Matte Me Crazy made it completely smooth!

I think I am even more in love with this matte-ified!!! What do you ladies think? Matte or glossy?

Bitches Brew is currently sold out but Allison plans to restock on Friday along with a few other of her awesome polishes. In the meantime NPB has other fantastic polishes available still!
