I asked a while back if anyone would like to see a post of my favorite polishes of 2012 and a few people expressed some interest. Since I am such a huge fan of Indies I am going to do just Indie polishes.

Polish Addict Review: Spiced Cocoa, Mint Chocolate Chip Mocha & Lavender Rain Cuticle Oil
Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. I am sorry for my lack of posting, with Christmas and some other unforeseen things that have come up it's been a little hard to get things posted like I normally do. This week will again be a crazy week for me, I am trying to get a few things done for you all, but I can't promise anything since there are some things that happened yesterday that take priority over nails. In the mean time I have managed to get some swatching done and today I have some polishes and a cuticle oil from Polish Addict, so lets get to the review!

Once the craziness subsides I will be back to regular posting I promise! For right now I have a non polish related post for you. I recently received my first 2 Influenster VoxBoxes, one was my delicious box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates which I posted about here. The other one I received was the Head & Shoulders VoxBox.

Whooz Polish Review: Rock Candy & Pink Pirate
Good evening boys and girls! It's been difficult getting this post done. I had to redo one of the manis because I didn't realize until editing that my base coat was bubbling and I didn't want to show that to you all. While I was trying to get that done the power kept going out holding the process up. Now I am typing between power outages so I'm going to hurry!

Whooz Polish: Winter Wonderland and Santa Review
So sorry for the late post, I was in the middle of getting the pictures cropped and watermarked and I just fell asleep. I woke up and my lap top was on the floor and Netflix was asleep too! LOL
Tonight I have Whooz Polish, a newer Indie name that opened shop back in October. I have several different polishes to show you, but tonight I am showing only 2. So make sure to keep your eyes open for more in the very near future. The 2 I am showing you tonight are from the Christmas line.

Newtown's Angels
I write this post with a heavy heart, as I am still deeply saddened by the tragic events that took place yesterday. I have been avoiding the news and keeping my social media usage to a minimum because I just can't stomach the headlines. I did see that some bloggers were going to post white manis as a tribute to the lives that were lost so I felt that I should as well.I know that this won't help the hurt but it's just a way for all of us to show some tiny bit of support.

Nail Pattern Boldness Texas Tea Review
Hello everybody! Today I have an amazing glitter bomb to show you today! If you have been following me for any amount of time you probably already know I have a weakness for Nail Pattern Boldness polishes! NPB was my intro to the amazing world of Indies and I fell in love my very first try! So when I had the opportunity to try out this Llarowe exclusive I jumped on board without hesitation! I had a bit of a hard time getting really good pictures of this beauty so I had to wait for a bright and sunny day and even then all of the sparkle made my camera freak out! So I took a little video to show you all!

How About A Tutorial?
Good evening my polished pals! I was feeling a bit better at about 6 am so I decided to try and play with my polish for a while. I wanted to do something Christmasy but EASY since I am still feeling yuck and quite sore from all of the coughing. Candy canes came to mind instantly. I wasn't optimistic enough to attempt to do a tape mani, which I love because of the precise lines and my OCD, so I decided to use the stripe mani I did a while back for inspiration. This is my day 12 mani from the 31 day challenge.

Ugly Christmas Nails!
Hi! It's me again! Yes 2 posts in 1 day! Crazy right!? I really wanted to do some nail art and I feel like all I have been doing is review swatches lately. Don't get me wrong, I love reviewing, but sometimes it's nice to just do something goofy! I still have a few things I need to do to finish up my 31 day challenge album...I know it's been over for a long time now but I will have all 31 days in that album if it kills me! So for today's post I decided to go with the Holiday theme and do something silly. So here are my ugly Christmas nails!

Laquerlicious Plum Parfait Review!
Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all are doing well, at least better than I am! I'm STILL sick, I can't seem to kick this cold or whatever it is. I feel fine for a day or most of the day then all of a sudden *BAM* it hits me again. Each time it hits it seems to be worse too! I may have overexerted myself last night by meeting up with some friends and having a few drinks but I needed to get out, so it was worth it!
Today I am going to be showing you a gorgeous polish from an Indie line that made it's debut in August. Some of you may have seen some of these lovely polishes from Laquerlicious (the "C" in lacquer is left off on purpose) popping up on some blogs lately! When I was contacted by Michelle to review I was excited to try out what she has to offer! Michelle has been a manicurist for 18 years, so she is very knowledgeable when it comes to polish and what we as nail crazies want and love!

U-Neek Polish Winter Collection Part 1
Good evening boys and girls! I am still feeling a bit under the weather but I wanted to get this post up! I've been a bit behind on my posting and I apologize Between being sick (since thanksgiving) and having to go to the library for Internet it was just getting a bit difficult to keep up even though I have had my swatching done! My Internet problem has finally been taken care of so I should have some regular posting going on, and hopefully some nail art soon. I really have been itching to do some, but for today I have part 1 of a review for U-Neek Polish!

Flash Your Tips *Griswold Family Christmas!* Review and Swatches
Hi everyone! Happy Monday!! Today I bring to you another fairly new Indie name that has a new Holiday line of polishes out that are named for the movie National Lampoons Christmas Vacation! If you haven’t seen the movie, you should! My Christmas isn't complete until I have seen it, and I actually watched it while I was swatching these 3 that I have to show you today.

Color Club Winter Affair
Happy weekend everyone! I wanted put up a post before I got started with my crazy day of Christmas shopping. Today I want to talk about my opinions on the Color Club Winter Affair mini set. I was at Sally’s a few weeks ago and was lucky enough to pick these up. I've NEVER seen color club around me before and had really wanted to try the brand out so I was very excited to get these. I thought the price was pretty reasonable 4 colors for $10, and the mini’s larger than the typical mini size so I thought it well worth the money and they are scented!

Kelara Lacquers Review and Swatches
Hello everyone! Today I am bringing to you a review of some polishes by a fairly new name in the Indie world. Kelara Lacquers is run by a very creative couple, Kellen and Tara. They are such a cute couple and they work on their line of polishes together and apparently the idea to start making polish was Kellen’s idea! How cool is that? I was sent 3 colors for this review: Jupiter, Silver & Gold and Hooray for Boobies!
So let’s get to it!

Nail Pattern Boldness "Silver" Flake aka Tin Man
Hello ladies and gents! Long time no post, right!? Sorry about the mini hiatus, things were just a little busy because of the holiday. I traveled to Indiana with my mom and my little brother and his family to visit my older brother and his family. It was the first time my brothers and I have all been together under one roof in almost 2 years! We had a lot of fun and we ate a LOT all weekend! Traditional American food for thanksgiving and then Mexican the rest of the weekend! YUM! I miss everyone already, but I was glad to come home since my hubby didn't get to come with us and this was our first holiday apart since we met. Plus I didn't get to play with my polish for 4 days!!! THE HORROR!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope everyone in the states is having a wonderful Thanksgiving and going to enjoy lots of Turkey, and all of my international polish pals happy Thursday! I just wanted to share my Thanksgiving mani with you all. I didn't have time to do the turkey mani I wanted to do since my family and I were running around trying to get some shopping done for our trip to Indiana to visit my older brother and his family. So I decided to just use some fall colors instead. I recently won a new beauty from Hit Polish (I've posted about some of Rachel's polishes before when her shop went by D&R Apothecary) by giving her the name for one of her soon to be released polishes. I received it yesterday and quickly decided it would be perfect for my Turkey day mani! Here is butterLondon All Hail the Queen under Hit Polish Painted Desert.

Wing Dust Collections *Review and Swatches* (Update -coupon code)
Good evening lacquered lovelies! I hope this post finds you all well and not too stressed out over tomorrows festivities. Today I would like to share with you all a collection by an Indie that some of you may or may not have already heard of, that comes from our lovely neighbors to the North, Wing Dust Collections. When I spoke to Stephanie about reviewing I was excited to try out anything she sent, when my package arrived I was floored! It was by far the prettiest package I've gotten to date. It was packed In a beautiful box that had her logo (see bottle shots) on the top...unfortunately it was halfway covered by postage stickers so I didn't take a picture...the packaging was obviously done with great care, you can tell she puts a lot of thought and love into her products just by the packaging alone!

Nail Pattern Boldness *The Time Traveler Collection*
Good afternoon boys and girls! I am sorry for the lack of posting and interacting on Facebook right now. I owe you all a recreation post for the final day of the 31 day challenge and I will have it for you but I am trying to catch up on a few things and I am having an issue with my internet that doesn't look like it will be resolved until after the holiday! Now I am at the mercy of the library WiFi, thank goodness it's just a few blocks away so I can just take a nice little walk to do my posts. It's just strange having to be super prepared before I start writing my posts! LOL Anyway.
Today I have a very special post for you! I recently told you all that I was sent a lot of goodies from Allison of Nail Pattern Boldness. Some of those goodies are what I'm going to show you today!
The Time Traveler Collection is inspired by Doctor Who. Now, I will not lie, I haven't seen Doctor Who since I was little when my mom use to watch, so I have no real recollection of the old series and I have not seen the new either. However I do know 1 thing for sure fans and non fans have been waiting for this collection to debut! So without further ado, I now present to you the very first swatches of Nail Pattern Boldness Time Traveler Collection...

Nail Pattern Boldness "Boop-Oop-a-Dupe" & My 100th Post!!
100 posts! I can't believe it! I knew that the mani for this post had to be an awesome one so I was saving a lemming that I recently acquired in a giveaway just for this occasion, Max Factor Fantasy Fire. However, while I was waiting ever so patiently for 100 to hit, I received the most awesome package full of great goodies to review and one of those goodies just so happened to be a dupe for the hard to find Fantasy Fire and even harder to find Clarins 230 aka Unicorn Pee! So of course I had to do a comparison for you all.
I now present to you Nail Pattern Boldness Boop-Oop-a-Dupe! Oh! Be forewarned this is a picture heavy post, but it is totally worth it! So I will keep my jibber jabber to a minimum until the end. ;)

Day 30: Inspired by a tutorial (Happy Birthday Joe Joe!)
Today isn't really a challenge day, it's actually tomorrow, nor is this mani actually inspired by a tutorial. The search of a certain tutorial was inspired by a little person. See, today is my nephews birthday. He is 5 years old today. I don't have any children of my own (and don't plan on any either!), I do have a stepdaughter, 2 nieces and my nephew. While I absolutely adore my stepdaughter and my nieces, my little man holds a very special place in my heart. The day that tiny little angel was born I knew what true love felt like for the first time. So even though he isn't mine I have a very special bond with him and he is the closest thing I will ever have when it comes to children. So this mani was inspired by the love of my life, my dear sweet nephew.
Happy birthday Joe Joe!
(Gizzle you better show him what I created for him! It took a lot of patience! LOL)

Day 29 "Inspired by the supernatural"
Ok, I apologize in advance for the half-assed job I've done on this day of the challenge. I was kind of in a hurry since I am in the process of a few reviews. But I am determined to actually finish this challenge with no more skip days! So since I was in such a hurry I decided to go for an easy out. Here are my Ectoplasmic Goo nails that were inspired by the Ghostbusters.

Ninja Babe: Nail Pattern Boldness
Hello all! I have a quick post today. This is one I've been wanting t do for a while now. I was going to swatch my Color Club holiday mini set but I decided I had enough time to do that later. Instead I have a top coat from Nail Pattern Boldness to show you today! Allison listed this girly version of Ninja vs Pirate a couple of months back and was sweet enough to send me one. Like I said I've been pretty backed up and just now have gotten around to using this beauty, but better late than never.
Ninja Babe: Red and pink shard glitters in a clear base.
All pictures show 2 coats of Ninja Babe over 2 coats Wet n Wild Break the Ice topped with 1 coat of NPB Glitter Food to assure smoothness and 1 coat Sally Hansen Mega Shine since NPB dries a bit matte.
Application was an absolute breeze. There was no fishing and really no need for placing any of the glitters. They just slid right off the brush with no problems!
I am so in love with shard glitters! It gives such a cool abstract look.
Ninja Babe is available now right now, here is a direct link to the listing.
Nail Pattern Boldness' full shop is available on Etsy here. Allison ships, of course, throughout the US and Canada plus a few other countries (just check her listings for details). If you don't see your country available she also has several polishes listed on Llarowe here, where there are a couple of exclusive polishes available as well. She also has a few polishes available on Shoppe Eclecticco as well!
You can find Nail Pattern Boldness on Facebook here. Allison always posts sneak peeks and restock info on her Facebook page. She also posts info on special projects that she may release along with more detailed restock info on her blog here. Make sure you like her page, she has already shown us what she is releasing next! So don't miss out!!! =)

Hello loves! Today is day 28! Yes, 28!!! I can't believe it's almost over! To be honest there were times I was like "IS THIS EVER GOING TO END!?!?!" LOL But I have had a lot of fun doing this! It's really helped me expand as a blogger and it has allowed me to find some great gals that I now call friends! So If you are a new blogger or thinking about blogging join a challenge, it really gives you the sense of community that you hear so much about from us crazy polish junkies! Thank you to all of you great gals that comment all the time and show so much love, thank you to all of you that follow and enjoy watching me grow in my obsession and hopefully talent! Thank you to my new friends, who help encourage me when I feel like I don't want to keep going! You all are frickin amazing! Now on to the challenge!

Happy hump day boys and girls! I hope everyone is having a great week so far, if not don't fret we are almost to the end of the week so hang in there! Today I have a whole lot of goodies to show you all. I was recently contacted by the super sweet Joan of Tip Top Nails to see about reviewing. Of course I jumped on the opportunity since these are not found here in the States! I always love showing you guys new and exciting things, I hope I am doing a good job of that so far, so when I received my package last week I was so excited!
*Note: I apologize in advance that some of these pictures are a bit blurry...I was having a bad picture day, and unfortunately I didn't realize this until after I had already swatched.*

Day 27 Inspired by Artwork
Goooood morning polish world! I have completed yet ANOTHER day in the challenge! Surprised my polished pretties? If you are I can't say I blame you! Today is suppose to be inspired by art. When thinking of what I wanted to do for this the only thing I could think of was watercolor paintings. So here is my Art inspired mani for day 27. I am half asleep, so this is going to be quick!

Poison Ivy
Hey girls and boys, how are we all today? I decided, that since I am working on my next review, I would do a post on a color I used recently in my Jindie Nails Santa Claws Review. I took a few pictures of this before I added Jen's amazing sparkly pretty just so I could show you all the amazingness of this color! I now present to you Poison Ivy of the Wet n Wild Pick Your Poison Collection.
Day 26...and I bet you thought I forgot!
Inspired by a pattern. I really was having a major block when it came to picking back up in the challenge. I have been doing so much swatching lately that I feel like I have nail art block. Just when I was about to call it quits, I decided to use the pattern I see every single day. My towels! Duh.
So here it is, my day 26 mani., and yes I know I skipped 23, 24 & 25, so please forgive me.

Polish TBH Opening! *Review and Swatches* Pt. 2
Hello my polished pretties! How are we on this lovely Halloween? I had planned on posting this later in the day but I remembered that it's Halloween and that some of you gals will be busy taking kiddies trick or treating or going to parties and what not, so earlier seems better to give all of you a chance to see these.
I want to start this part of the review just a little bit differently than what I usually do. I have been following Christian, the mind behind Polish TBH, from pretty close the beginning. It's been great fun to see her sneak peaks here and there. So when I received the opportunity to get to know about this line first hand I knew I wanted to pass this info on to you all as well. It's vary rare that I have the opportunity to bring a brand spankin new polish line to you first so I did a mini Q&A with Christian to share with you all!

Day 22 "Inspired by a song"
Hi all, I know I'm late posting but at least I'm posing closer to the actual day than I have been! Today's mani was a tough one for me. I had a few ideas and I just wasn't feeling any of them. That on top of the killer headache I haven't been able to shake for about a week now I just said eff it and went with the song that kept popping in to my head all day anyway Mariposa Traicionera (treacherous butterfly) by Mana.
Actually they were inspired by the album art for the single.

Hey all, sorry I've not been keeping up with my challenges lately. I have been pretty busy with reviews and I have been a bit put off with the challenges since I broke my nail. Nail art is virtually impossible to do on my right hand since I am right handed. My left hand is pretty useless unless it's holding a bottle of polish. LOL
I did completely bypass Day 19 (Galaxies) in the challenge. I will do one before the challenge is over, cross my heart! Today I have Days 20 and 21, Water Marble and Inspired by a Color.
I want to remind you that at the very beginning of this challenge I said that I would show you even the most ugly, failed attempts. And these frankly belong in that category.

Hi ladies! I want to start by saying thank you to all of the new followers! I have gotten so much feedback on what you all like and don't like and I have taken it all into consideration. As you can see I have started to clean up my side bars and will have the blog under construction to try and make it a little better. I will try to eventually incorporate the things you all have asked for, like the blog layout changes to nail art tutorials and storage solutions. So I hope you all continue to follow my sassy chronicles!

Freak Show Polish "Sword Swallower" *New Indie Review*
Happy Humpday ladies! It's gross and gray here, the rain has stopped and I'm praying to the baseball Gods that it stays away for the next few days so the Cards can finish this up and move on to the World Series! Ok enough about my baseball wishes and on to the reason you all are here...POLISH!
Freak Show Polish to be more specific.
I warn you now this is a bit picture heavy and lengthy.

Hello lovelies! How is everyone doing this Monday evening? My Monday is going really well, it's my 1st wedding anniversary! Yay! My hubby told me for our anniversary he got us tickets to go see Wicked!!! What a sweet boy! Especially since I know he really doesn't like musicals! It's not till December but i don't care because it's WICKED!! Ok, I'm sorry for the out burst but I just had to tell someone!
On to the nails! I have been sitting on this one for a little while. Since Allison from Nail Pattern Boldness went on vacation I wanted to wait until she was back to show you the latest goodies I had gotten during one of her last restocks!

Nailgasm "Stick It To Me" Review
Hello gals! As promised, today I have another review for you. Today's Nailgasm polish is Stick It To Me! Stick It To Me is a clear based polish with medium white hexagons, small black hexagons, short white bar glitter, and medium black bar glitter! It's similar to Lynn's Connect the Dots, but a bit more simplistic and waaaaaaaaay cheaper and much easier to obtain!

Nailgasm Review **New Indie**
Hello ladies! Tonight I have another new Indie to show you! Nailgasm...Polish that makes your nails wet! I love the name Nailgasm! How many times do we nail junkies say that on a weekly or even daily basis? Today's Nailgasm polish is Ice Cream Dream: a soft pink milky base with matte red hex glitter, pink holo glitter, periwinkle iridescent glitter, and matte purple square glitter. It really does remind me of bubble gum ice cream! I'm a sucker for milky base polishes, so I had to show it to you first out of the 3 I have to review!

*New Indie Review* Pibble Polish
Hello ladies, I hope everybody's week is starting out well. Today's post is a review on an NEW indie, Pibble Polish. The creator of Pibble Polish describes her line as "unique lacquers inspired by rescue dogs everywhere." The polish I have to show you today is Nymeria, described as a rich, vibrant royal purple with shimmering fine golden sparkle, similar in feel to Essie Starry Starry Night. This was a custom polish for the creator's friend who named it after Arya Stark's dire wolf (Game of Thrones) because, as she reasoned, "the dire wolf puppies were pretty much rescues, right?"
So on to the polish...

Day 17 "Glitter"
Yes I am a day late on my day 17 post, but I have a good excuse! My wedding anniversary is on the 15th and my hubby surprised me Saturday with a few things, one of them was tickets to the Cardinals 1st game of the NLDS against the Washington Nationals!! Hubby wanted me to do Red October nails for the game, so he bought me Orly Rockets Red Glare (along with some other goodies) to make it happen!
I decided to do a red and white gradient then then add glitter to it.
Then with white acrylic paint I added the STL logo and my favorite players jersey number, 4 for Yadier Molina the best catcher in baseball!!
Colors used left to right:
Orly Dayglow
Sinful Colors Ruby Ruby
Orly Rockets Red Glare
So those are my glitter/Red October nails! I was so happy to go to the game I just wish we would have won, especially since we froze our asses off! Oh well they're kickin but right now so far!
Well ladies I'm going to go make a pumpkin roll for the the hubby then work on a few review manis! Don't forget to check out the other ladies, who were probably on time with their glitter manis!
