Happy weekend loves! I have a quick review post for you today, 4 of 6 from the new Girl Please Collection. I'm just going to jump right into, so here it goes!
Tiny Dancer: a delicate shimmery pink with small light blue hexes and large aqua squares.
All photos of Tiny Dancer are shown as 3 coats topped with 1 coat of Mega Shine.
"Hold me closer Tony Danza!" (Name that show!) I can't help it, every single time I hear the words Tiny Dancer that's all I can think about! This is a lovely delicate pink. The glitters are a bit hard to get out of the bottle, but it's not supposed to be a glitter bomb so fishing for them is worth it.
Chaotic Peligro: a black base with a hint of blue and pink shimmer.
All photos of Chaotic Peligro are shown as 3 coats. Some are shown topped with only Mega Shine, others are topped with NYC You Matte Me Crazy to show the hidden shimmer/colors.
While I don't recommend wearing this matte since it looks too streaky IRL, I matted it to show off the hidden sparks of color. This is a super shiny, extremely gorgeous color. It is a bit on the sheer side but the build up makes it nice and opaque and doesn't make it too thick.
How I Troll: when cold it's a hot pink jelly with black, white and 2 shades of pink in various shapes and sizes. When warm the pink fades leaving behind only the glitters and your base color.
All photos of How I Troll are shown as 3 coats over Sally Hansen Moonstone topped with 1 coat of Mega Shine.
Left to Right: Hot, warm, cool and cold.
For time and review purposes I did use a cold glass of water and a heater to show the temperature changing effects but after wearing it for a while the color usually stayed at the 2 in the middle. I love thermal polishes! I use to buy them like crazy back when I was in high school, once upon a time! I'm so happy they are making a come back, especially in the Indie world!
Hard Candy: a clear base with black, gold and rose colored hexes and squares in several sizes.
All photos of Hard Candy are shown as 1 coat over Sally Hansen Lacey Lilac topped with 1 coat of Mega Shine.
Much to my surprise Hard Candy is my favorite of the bunch. The combination of colors is what has me hooked. This polish is also available in a white base as well.
Overall I love all of these beauties! Polish TBH has a great formula for all of the polishes Very smooth application and no thickening. The only one that required any work getting the glitters out of the bottle was Tiny Dancer but leaving the bottle upside down for a few minutes before application makes retrieving them easier.
You can purchase these beauties, and the other 2 not shown in this post, Blonde Rebel and Geyttyh, from this collection on Etsy here. Full sizes are $8 and minis are $4. This weekend only you can purchase the entire Girl Please Collection for a reduced price of $36 for full size bottles and $18.50 for minis. The Fantasy Collection is also available still as well, swatches are available to view here and here.
Well girls and boys, I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.I'm off to enjoy the rest of mine!
