Good morning ladies! I have something very special for you all today! I was recently sent a collection for a brand new Indie by the name of Polish TBH.
I decided to break this review up into 2 parts since these posts are picture heavy. Today I will have Circus, Twist and Hidden.
Circus: a creamy blue jelly with golden shimmer and red hex glitters.
All pictures of Circus are 4 coats topped with 1 coat SV.
Circus is the most sheer out of the collection, it took 4 coats to get the opaqueness shown here. The good thing is, it's not a thick polish so it doesn't feel like you are wasting precious polish to do all 4 and it dries fairly quick. I would suggest either all 4 coats or to use undies of a white or baby blue if you really want that blue to stand out!
I really like the uniqueness of this polish. The color combo is great!
Application was fairly easy, there was a bit of settling with the red glitters, but I just set it upside down for a minute or so while I applied my Elmer's and base coat and it was perfectly fine. The red glitters do not come out in an abundance, but this is good for this particular polish, it is not suppose to be a glitter bomb.
Next up...
Twist: a multicolored glitter topcoat with dark blue, aqua, fuchsia, pink and silver holo hexes in mutiple sizes and large holo hearts.
All pictures of Twist are 1 coat over L'Oreal Penthouse Pink topped with 1 coat of SV.
I picked Penthouse Pink to pair with this because I wanted to show all the different colors that were in this glitter bomb. Plus with the hearts it just seemed fitting!
I'm not usually a big fan of the larger shapes when it comes to glitter top coats, but all of the glitters even the hearts lay flat so just my regular top coat was fine and made it smooth!
Overall, the formula is thick enough that it suspends nicely and requires no fishing. Application was smooth and it dries fast.
And the last one for today...
Hidden: a dark red jelly with silver holo and black hex glitters in various sizes and red square glitters.
All pictures of Hidden are 3 coats topped with 1 coat of SV.
This is more of a cranberry red, I think, in real life. The color is just a tad darker in person but the pictures are extremely close to accurate.
This is a stunning jelly polish! I loved this one so much I wore it for 3 days, and those of you who have been following for a while know that's a long time for me! I am in love how squishy this looks.
Application was wonderful, I used 3 coats to get the full richness of the red, but 2 coats worked just as well coverage wise.
The formula on all three of these is great, they weren't too thick so there was no dragging, but not too thin so there was no pooling or flooding my cuticles and sides.
What do you think so far? What are your favorites out of these three?
