Superchic Lacquer: Scriptures Collection Swatches

GOOD MORNING and a very happy Wednesday to you! I have some gorgeous polishes to show to you today from the Superchic Lacquer Scriptures Collection.

The Scriptures Collection consists of 8 multichrome flakie/micro glitter polishes. All of them can be layered over your favorite color undies or can be worn alone in just 2 generous coats. I have all 8 shades swatched as stand alone colors for you today. Because these all dry down very textured I topped each mani with 2 coats of Superchic Lacquer Marvel TopCoat to get a nice smooth finish. If you are going to wear these solo you will want to male sure that you do a couple of things. First, use very generous coats. Next, let the first coat dry down completely. Then, when you apply the second coat make sure you do it lightly to avoid tugging the glitter and flakies off the nail. You may even want to dab this coat on to ensure an opaque finish. I just want to note that my descriptions are my own, there may be some colors I missed in the shifting flakies. So please forgive me if I'm a little off.

Now let's jump into swatches...

Elevation Polish: Glacier Collection & Yeti Duo Swatches

Hey guys! Who's going crazy with the upcoming holiday? ME!! So let's take a nice break and look at some pretty polishes! Today I have the two newest collections from Elevation to show you. Up first I have the Glacier Collection...

Engilchek Glacier: "a dusty light purple shimmer. Micro shimmer in pink & violet."

Shown as 2 coats topped with Superchic Marvel Top Coat.
This has an excellent formula. There was no flooding the cuticles or sides, no dragging or balding and very self leveling. The shimmer is a bit muted until under direct light but when it shows it's gorgeous!
Engilchek retails for $9.

Celestial Cosmetics "Jaqen H'ghar" & "King Slayer"

Hi loves! Sorry about the late post, I'm feeling a bit under the weather. My husband was sick last week and I fought strong and hard but I think my body is giving up on that fight. My head is so congested and my throat it scratchy, I think it has a hold on me! :'( Oh well, the show must go on.

Tonight I have two multichrome polishes from the new Seven Kingdoms collection, a collaboration between Celestial Cosmetics and Color4Nails

Wing Dust Collections "Sunset Glow" & "Bonfire Under the Stars"

Hello loves! Today I have a couple of beautiful shifty top coats from one of my absolute favorite Indies!
Wing Dust Collections has some of the most amazing polishes and these are no exception! Both of these are shown as 2 coats over Finger Paints Black Expressionism topped with Sally Hansen Diamond Flash. The formula for each was excellent, they flow on tho the nail smooth as silk with no pulling or dragging and dry quickly. They would both look excellent over any color but dark colors make the shift more apparent.

H is for Hard Candy

Welcome to the H day of Kimber's ABC Challenge! I know, another late post today! What's new, right? I had a completely different mani planned out for this day of the challenge, but since I had planned on doing some cool stuff with my Color Club Holo Hues it just wasn't going to happen. I woke up to snow and not a ray of sunshine! Boo! Mother Nature must have missed the memo that I'm ready for spring! Anyhow, since there was no sun I opted for using 2 of the only 3 Hard Candy polishes I own. I had been looking for Hard Candy polishes for what seems to be an eternity. The Walmart by me got rid of the display for the polishes so When I go to a different Walmart, which isn't often, I looked for Beetle like crazy! When I was in Indiana back in January I found the last bottle of Beetle

Wing Dust Collections *Review and Swatches* (Update -coupon code)

Good evening lacquered lovelies! I hope this post finds you all well and not too stressed out over tomorrows festivities. Today I would like to share with you all a collection by an Indie that some of you may or may not have already heard of, that comes from our lovely neighbors to the North, Wing Dust Collections. When I spoke to Stephanie about reviewing I was excited to try out anything she sent, when my package arrived I was floored! It was by far the prettiest package I've gotten to date. It was packed In a beautiful box that had her logo (see bottle shots) on the top...unfortunately it was halfway covered by postage stickers so I didn't take a picture...the packaging was obviously done with great care, you can tell she puts a lot of thought and love into her products just by the packaging alone!

I have tons of great pictures for 6 different beauties for you today. So keep on reading and you will see some stunning and unique polishes that any polish junkie will love!!

Nail Pattern Boldness "Boop-Oop-a-Dupe" & My 100th Post!!

100 posts! I can't believe it! I knew that the mani for this post had to be an awesome one so I was saving a lemming that I recently acquired in a giveaway just for this occasion, Max Factor Fantasy Fire. However, while I was waiting ever so patiently for 100 to hit, I received the most awesome package full of great goodies to review and one of those goodies just so happened to be a dupe for the hard to find Fantasy Fire and even harder to find Clarins 230 aka Unicorn Pee!  So of course I had to do a comparison for you all.
I now present to you Nail Pattern Boldness Boop-Oop-a-Dupe! Oh! Be forewarned this is a picture heavy post, but it is totally worth it! So I will keep my jibber jabber to a minimum until the end. ;)
