This Giveaway Is Now Closed!
I have some goodies for you guys today! All these items are things that I personally
use & love and I wanted to share them with you!
Up first!
Now I have told you all that I was planning on having Nail Pattern Boldness Flipping Out Hard as one of the Prizes for my first giveaway, but what I didn't tell you was a few weeks ago Allison, the creative mind behind the NPB label has generously donated 2 more of her beauties to my giveaway! She has given us a bottle of her new Halloween polish Bitches Brew and one of the regulars in her collection, Ninja vs. Pirate. I absolutely L-O-V-E Allison's polishes! They are all amazing in color, quality and price! Click on the names for the swatches of each of these beauties!
Next!
I have China Glaze Crackle polishes. I get that a lot of people are not crazy about Crackle...honestly I'm not a huge fan of crackle, but oddly I really like these! I've not had the chance to swatch my own yet but I know there are some really nice swatches out in out little blogging world and these are beautiful! I have for you from left to right:
Cracked Medallion, Latticed Lilac, Haute Metal, Jade-D, Oxidized Aqua.
Now I know that these aren't near as spectacular as the NPB polishes but I really wanted to give you guys some extra goodies!
Now for the little extras.
I absolutely love these polish remover sheets! Since I've started using the Elmer's glue base coat I use a lot less acetone and more of these babies! They have cuticle oil in them and leave your nails and fingers nice and smooth. I love how gentile they are compared to acetone! These I got from Amazon but I also use the e.l.f remover sheets too and I love them just as much!
These brushes while used for different things are both staples in my collection. My BFF recently gave me one of these double sided brushes for my birthday. The other brush I use to clean my mani's up, make them prim and proper! =)
Last but certainly not least, glass nail files! I only use glass files and I happen to come across these at Big Lots! they were such an amazing deal that I bought every single on they had! I have to say that I love these files even more than the ones I paid 3 times the amount for!
So that's the entire lot! I decided that instead of me dividing the prizes up I would leave that up to the 1st place winner!
The first place winner will pick 2 of the Nail Pattern Boldness Polishes, 2 of the China Glaze Polishes her choice of brush and scent of remover sheets and one of the nail file packs!
The second place winner will get the remaining Nail Pattern Boldness Polish, the remaining 3 China Glaze Polishes, the remaining brush and polish remover sheet pack and a nail file pack!
This guarantees that each winner will get 4 polishes, 1 pack of remover pads, 1 brush and 1 pack of glass files!
I hope that wasn't too confusing!
Unfortunately this giveaway is open to US and Canadian residents only at this time! Sorry to any international followers but I will try to have an international giveaway soon! I am not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged packages.
This giveaway will run for 3 weeks starting September, 27. 2012 ending October, 19. 2012 at 12:01am. The winners will be notified within 48 hours of close. If the winner(s) do not respond within 24 hours a new winner(s) will be randomly drawn. I will only be accepting entries through Rafflecopter. Also, and this should go without saying, NO CHEATING! I will be checking all of your entries and you will be disqualified if you are caught cheating! Lets not ruin the fun! =) All terms and Conditions are listed below.
Oh, and Don't forget to tell Allison from Nail Pattern Boldness a big Thank You for her contribution!
Good Luck Everyone!
I love your blog just as it is! My favorite posts are simple nail art looks and swatches. I especially like seeing swatches of drugstore brands like revlon, sinful colors and wet n wild. Thank you so much for this generous giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThank You for your feedback! And Thanks for following! =)
DeleteYou are amazing!! and your blog is amazing!! and your mani's are even more amazing!!
ReplyDeleteOne thing to think about is putting the picture of your manicure up first and the picture of the polishes you use last - that way in my blog reader, your beautiful mani shows up instead of bottles of polish.
I've considered that before, and I use to not even do bottle shots. I just figured if I put the bottle shot first then maybe it would create more traffic from the people who wanted to see what I used them for. Excellent suggestion, Thanks chickie! Once the giveaway is over I will do a facebook poll to see what is preferred!
DeleteYeah, I agree with that too. If I see bottle shots, I usually skip past them (except for yours because I know you'll have something amazing) so wonder if others do that too. And I feel like an a$$hole for saying you needed to change something - everyone was peaches and summertime and I'm a big jerk!!! LOL, you're fabulous :) Hey, I'll probably never use Whimsical and Popular again - you want them?? Email me your addy and I'll send em!
DeleteNo!!!!!! I appreciate the feedback! It's good to know that you think that way! I can totally see that too, I have to admit I'm like that sometimes too, unless a bottle really cathces my eye. What do you think about a sneak peak shot, of a nail or 2? Or do you think a full mani shot is best still? I'm wondering because I'm the person that will see the finished mani shot first and feel like ok I don't need to click on it now. That may be just me though. I just wanted to pick your brain a little.
DeleteI don't think your an asshole either! Silly! Constructive criticism is what I was asking for, and YOU'RE fabulous for giving it to me! =)
What fun, Gini!!!! Congratulations on your 100 Facebook likes!!!!!!I think your blog is terrific, as is. You've an engaging writer's voice, and consistently quality content. What's more to love?
ReplyDeleteLisa
Thank you Lisa! You are always so kind, it makes it so much easier to keep doing what I do, I use to feel like I was talking to myself! LOL I love my loyal followers!!!

Well thank you Grace! Gotta love Pinterest, that site fueled my passion for polish! And yes, the NPB's are AMAZING! My very first Indie's were NPB and they are still my faves! Good Luck!
Deletei'm a newbie to your site, but i always LOVE to see storage solutions and swatches of indie polishes. thanks so much for offering up these goodies!
ReplyDeleteWelcome! Thank you for your input. I think you have named the one thing that, in my own oppinion, I REALLY do need to work on...Storage Solutions! I really need to get some Melmers! I would love to do the DIY polish racks but my walls are plaster and any significant amount of weight will just rip right out of the wall(learned the hard way), and us polish junkies know how much 70 bottles can weigh! I will hopefully, in the future, do some posts on this subject though! Thank you and good luck!
DeleteI ;ove your blog just the way it is!!
ReplyDeleteWell thank you! =)
DeleteYou don't need to change a thing! I love your nails and swatches :D

ReplyDeleteThanks for this awesome giveaway
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I found your blog. You have some interesting things on it!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower, and I love to see nail art and reviews & swatches! Nail art because it's beautiful to see, and reviews & swatches to help me decide which brand I should go with to purchase a specific color. Actually, if you included a short paragraph about your experiences with the polishes that you used to do your nail art, that would be amazing! Best of both worlds! =)
ReplyDeleteI love your nail art, keep up the good work, and thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'm new, but I love all your gorgeous manis. I do agree with the comment above about putting the nail shots first and the bottle shots later :O)

ReplyDeleteI always love seeing new nail art to give me ideas :D
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog:) Love your art:) soo cute:) the only thing i would change is with info on both the left and right side of the post It can distract the reader away from the posts. You could put everything on one side or maybe change the background color of the post so that it is more contrasting and distinguished :)

ReplyDeleteI am fairly new to the nail polish world and I LOVE to follow blogs!!

ReplyDeleteI am a fairly new nail polish addict... I love to see indy polishes (not franken) on nails before I buy them. Also, I have a thing about Jellies... I love jellies!
ReplyDeleteI love blogs that have great swatches (up close of the bottle and the nail in sun and shade)! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your page (and nail art really) but I love seeing short nail designs because I have a fear of having my nails too long with young children around.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower of your blog (found you via datyorkLOVES Nail-aween challenge) and I'm lovin' it so far. Can't think of anything you need to change, keep up the great work and thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love it the way it is. I like blogs about the hauls.
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your blog, but I've enjoyed what I've seen so far. I always love to see tutorials for nail art, and enjoy ogling gorgeous swatches as well.
ReplyDeleteI've stalked your blog for a little while, but just became a follower. I love all your nail art! You do a great job! I wouldn't change anything. :)
ReplyDeleteI would like to see more comparison posts. Cheap dupes are amazing.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing all the designs! Thanks for the giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes on nail blogs with nail swatches/reviews, the posts get a little pic-heavy and make the whole blog cluttered-looking (and difficult to scroll through if you happen to not be interested in a particular post--turns away more readers, I think). If you could figure out how to do a text cut, somehow, that might be one suggestion. ...Just my thoughts!
ReplyDeleteI would definitely love ideas on how and where to store polish.
ReplyDeleteNew to your blog, I absolutely love your designs! I have just recently became a nail addict and would love to try a couple of these indie polishes! Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway! Happy Swatching! hehe
ReplyDeleteI am new to your blog! Everything looks great! I am trying to learn to stamp so I am always interested in those posts. Thanks so mucg for the giveaway and gongrats on your great blog!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I love you Kimber, you are such a goofball! How about naked dude of the week and then we can do a monthly vote for who is hotter then have a naked dude of the year post! LMFAO! We can do a calendar...Bunz n Lacquer! Ok I'm done being a spaz!
DeleteMy biggest thing that attracts me to blogs is there easy to read layout, and the way the blog looks itself, maybe a spiffy new look? I can't talk because my blog isn't anything special but I know when I am browsing blogs I tend to enjoy ones that really stand out among the rest. I still love your blog though and will be reading through your archives!
ReplyDeleteYayy!! I hope I win! Thanks for letting me know about this, Gini!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to blogging and find your site a real inspiration! Love your writing, your personality really comes through!
ReplyDeleteI love everything about your blog. It gives me so much inspiration for my own nails and gets me back into blogging my recipes.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog but from what I have seen so far I really like it a lot! Your nails and cuticles are perfect and I would love some tips on how you get your cuticles so perfect! I take the best care of mine that I can (oils and lotion and push them back and do everything I can and they still don't look that great!)
ReplyDeleteOops! Thank you for the awesome contest, too! :)
DeleteI have a few things listed in the FAQ/Tips & Tricks tab up at the top of the page., but a new thing that a fellow blogger introduced me to is Blue Cross Cuticle remover. I got it at Sally's, it was $5 for a 16oz bottle. It will last me forever because so little is needed. It is aaaaaamazing! I will update my FAQ's page to include it!
DeleteYour blog is amazing! I dont think you need to change a thing! I love all the swatches and designs you do!:) But I do have one question... you mentioned that you use the elmers glue base coat method, but I can never get it to work! Do you think it's because I keep my designs on for at least a week? I really want to learn how to make it peel off..glitters are a pain! Anyways, great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteCheck the FAQ's I have just updated the glitter removal portion to answer your questions! =)
DeleteThank you so much!! I checked it out..I'll try to do a couple coats now..haha thanks again!:)
