Hi everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was unexpectedly busy. I had quite a few plans for manis that I wanted to post but life happened and prevented me from doing so. Oh well, I like getting out of the house and my niece, mom AND dad surprised me and my hubs by driving out and taking us out for lunch yesterday! That's huge since my mom and dad have been divorced since I was a teenager. They crack me up with how well they get along now, I guess sometimes you just gotta love divorce! Ok that's enough of my rambling, let's get on with the show...
I received a surprise package last week from Michelle of Laquerlicious with some beauties to review for you all, and since everyone is promoting and swatching Valentine's Day collections (I have reviewed quite a few in the past several weeks) I decided to break up the "love fest" and swatch Michelle's gorgeous St. Patrick's Day polish for you all!
St. Patrick's Lucky Day...
...a sheer green/gold shimmer base with green and gold tiny-large hex, square and bar glitter.
All photos of St. Patrick's Lucky Day are shown as 2 coats over 2 coats Spoiled I'm So Jaded topped with 1 coat Mega Shine.
I love Laquerlicious polishes! They have such great quality. The formulas are always spectacular, suspending the glitters well so there is no fishing and allowing them to be applied smoothly on to the nail. There is no pooling or flooding and the glitters lay so flat and smooth that there is no need for a glitter smoothing top coat! I love all of the different shapes and sizes in this glitter bomb. It would look great on it's own or layered over several different colors.
I figured I'd included a couple of pix of the charm my hubby gave me for Christmas, sorry it's not a gift with purchase! LOL
You can purchase Laquerlicious polishes on Etsy here. St. Patrick's Lucky Day retails for $8.50 for a full sized bottle. You can follow Laquerlicious on Facebook, Twitter @NailChickMich and Instagram @creativenailchick, for previews to up coming colors, flash sales and shop info.
So what do you think about this green beauty? Are you ready for St. Patty's Day? Corned beef and cabbage and green beer! I know I am!
