How is everyone this Monday morning? I'm tired! I had a long weekend, GOOD, but long. I know I haven't followed my set schedule for stamping on the weekend or nail art on Thursdays and I'm sorry. We had a lot of gymnastics meets this month so I haven't been around so much nail stuff let alone posting on the weekends. This week I am going to try and double up on posts on Tuesday and Thursday to get my review bin emptied out! I don't like having that many polishes sitting in the bin, and if I continue to do them on Monday, Wednesday and Friday I'll never get caught up.
Today I have some yet to be released polishes from Utopia's Polish! 2 Valentine's Day polishes and 1 St Patrick's Day polish. I decided to group these together since they are all unreleased and I wanted to get the pictures to Virginia, the creative mind behind Utopia's Polish, as soon as possible so she can list them for you all!
Be My Sweetheart: micro fine shimmer in a pink crelly base with square, hex, bar and heart shaped glitters in white, red and gold holo.
All photos of Be My Sweetheart are shown as 2 coats topped with 1 coat Glitter Food and 1 coat Mega Shine.
I am not usually a fan of bar glitter because it can make the mani look sloppy, but Virginia did the bar glitter right in this one since there isn't a lot in it. It's a nice subtle touch making it fun but not junkie looking so you can see the other glitters and base, not just a ton of bars.
Unconditional: hex, square, round and heart shaped glitters in various sizes and colors (some holo) in a clear base
All photos of Unconditional are shown as 2 coats over Spoiled Visually Slimming topped with 1 coat Glitter Food and 1 coat Mega Shine.
I'll be honest, I may have gone a little overboard and could have gotten away with 1 coat of Unconditional, but I was in awe of how much the glitters looked like they were glowing! I just wanted to keep putting more on! I am so glad I used black as the base for this, it really made all the colors of the glitters pop! This is my favorite of the 3, I wore this mani for 2 days!
Luck O' The Irish: gold micro fine shimmer in a green crelly base with hex, square and heart glitter in gold, green and some red.
All photos of Luck O' The Irish are shown as 3 coats topped with 1 coat Glitter Food and 1 coat Mega Shine.
I only used 3 coats on this one to cover a few of the thinner spots I missed, but 2 should be sufficient. The pictures do not do this green beauty justice! You must see it in person to really appreciate it! Actually I feel that way about all 3 of these!
The formula of all 3 of these was great! The glitters came out easily and abundantly, no fishing required. They weren't too thick yet not thin at all, giving good coverage and no clumping, dragging, flooding or pooling. Dry time was great and the glitters cooperated well once on the nail, laying flat and staying in place with each added coat.
